One of the things
I really like about drawing is that it's possible to do
pretty much what you like. If you want to create a lady
with spikes instead of hair you just do it - well, at
least in principle. In reality you still have to make the
effort and take the time to put it on paper. I started
this picture and then got bored - all those spikes! So it
got left. About two years later I went on holiday and, in
a new setting and with new determination, I managed to
finish it. This picture doesn't so much capture a
