May: Dogprints (casts)

I had intended showinig a new lifecast this month but lack of time and an easily accessible model prevented that (so if you want a free lifecast portrait, especially if you live in Kent, England let me know). However, I was determined to have casts as the theme for May so I think this fits in with the general theme of the site.

The dog's paw print top left is in a piece of Roman tile. What was the dog like? What were its surroundings like? Who picked the tile up and fired it, used it?

The print top right is in plaster and was taken from the track botton left by me. As chance would have it a friend came along with her dog when I was about to take the cast and that's him bottom right.ft by the dead!
