Here's a colourful
little scene - the irridescent green-blue bodies of a
couple of flies as they tuck into a dead shrew. I came
upon this corps as I walked along a country path close to
where I live. I don't know how this small creature met
its end but there it was, on its back, snout in the air
being devoured. If you went to this same spot now you
