This is a pretty poor photograph. The subject (sunset) is nice enough- if somewhat traditional- but those white patches in the lower part of the picture are finger prints!

I could easily remove them from the image in a paint programme. On this occasion I have left them since they fit in with the general theme of this site - the capturing of moments. The photograph captures a moment at sunset in a particular place and the finger print a moment when a particular individual (probably me!) stuck their paws on the scanner.

Maybe, on a future month's page, I will include a similar scan but this time with a print left by the dead!
