This is a cast of
a bellybutton (mine in fact) in chocolate. You start by
making a cast of the actual tummybutton (or other body
part) in a rubbery paste called alginate. If you are
thinking of doing life casts yourself then explain it
carefully to the people you live with - even then they
will give you strange looks when they come into a room
and find you lying on your back with a blob of alginate
in your navel (especially since some manufacturers
