I have been making lifecasts (also known
as bodycasts) since some time in 2000. They seem to me like three
dimensional photographs. When they are made from a living person
they capture that person at that moment. So, if you want a life
size, three dimensional record of how you are now a cast from
life is the thing - about the nearest you get to immortality I
guess. Its possible to make a cast of the whole body but doing
just a bit is often sufficient for a record - you could have
repeated casts of a child's hand as he or she grows say. Bits can
be put together too, though it might need a little ingenuity,as
in Yellow
Straws. To stick
with the theme of all things changing (passing even) it's also
possible to make casts out of chocolate and eat them - like real Chocolate Buttons!. CLICK ON
